Evangelist Billy Graham Addressing Crowd in Germany

(Original Caption) June 30, 1954-Berlin, Germany: Berlin crowds hear evangelist Billy Graham. More than one hundred thousand persons packed Olympic Stadium in the British sector of Berlin Sunday afternoon to hear American evangelist Billy Graham. Other thousands who could not get into the stadium thronged adjacent May Field. This general view showing part of the huge crowd was made as Graham (In dark suit) delivered his sermon. At the end of the meeting, Graham asked all those who believed in God to stand. The evangelist expressed his reaction at the response he received by saying "I've never seen anything like it in my life. This might be the beginning of a new Germany."
