Rioters Waving a British Flag

(Original Caption) Remnants of a British flag are waved by rioting students in Salonika, where demonstrations have been staged against Britain and the U.S. over United States support of a British move to postpone United Nations consideration of the union of Cyprus and Greece. Police used tear gas to break up dwindling demonstrations in riot torn cities on the island of Cyprus, where unruly throngs have violated ordinances against gatherings of more than five persons.
