Floral Coronation Robe Unveiled For Salisbury Cathedral Flower Festival

SALISBURY, ENGLAND - MAY 03: A replica coronation robe made of dyed grasses and gilded ferns is unveiled at Salisbury Cathedral on May 03, 2022 in Salisbury, England. The robe was created by flower arrangers from the Salisbury Cathedral team and installed temporarily in front of the altar. It will stand with a specially crafted orb, sceptre and crown for the duration of the ahead of the 2022 Flower Festival, Celebration – A Festival of Flowers. Behind the robe, an altar cloth created out of fabric used during the 1953 Coronation service in Westminster Abbey covers the High Altar.
