Couple Wed In Tathra Following Devastating Bushfires

The bushfire, which started on 18 March, destroyed 65 houses, 35 caravans and cabins, and damaged 48 houses. Preliminary investigations have found that power lines were the likely cause of the fire, raising questions about the maintenance of power infrastructure by Essential Energy, which is owned by the NSW government.
