Endoplasmic reticulum (ER, pink) is the site of lipid synthesis and the production of membrane-bound proteins. The Golgi body (yellow) modifies and packages proteins. Mitochondria (green) provide the cell with energy. Cilia (finger-like projections) move particles on the exterior of the cell.
