VOICED: A controversial high speed rail line expected to be given the green light by the government later this morning. The first phase of the 32 billion pound HS2 project will speed passengers from London to Birmingham in 49 minutes. But opponents say it will cost taxpayers billions more & ruin swathes of picturesque countryside.
