Senator Harris says to never give up after incredible disappointment of President Trump's impeachment acquittal

California Senator Kamala Harris says in Senate floor debate prior to votes on impeachment articles against President Donald Trump that in order to wrestle power away from the very few people at the very top who abused their power, the American people would have to fight for the voice and power of the people, go into the darkness to shine a light, not be deterred or overwhelmed, never give up on the country, its ideals were the foundation of its democracy, on the meaning of true justice, a part of American history, past, present and future that in order to make real the values in its promise never take for granted there would be moments in time and history where incredible disappointments were experienced but the greatest disappointment would be to give up, to never give up fighting for who we know we are, unburdened by who we had been, the strength of the nation.
