House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California tells reporters at weekly briefing on day 20 of a partial government shutdown that on the 2016 campaign trail Republicans supported pre-existing conditions in the health care law but 192 voted against participating in a lawsuit the day before, but to recap the soap opera of petulance and obstinance was created by President Donald Trump in the shutdown that all support border security having taken an oath to support and defend the American people and the Constitution, with the debate was about, a better, more effective way to protect and secure the border.
