Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York tells reporters at a press briefing two weeks after a mass shooting at a Parkland, Florida high school that Democrats believe Congress must pass tough legislation, closing background check loopholes at a minimum, the gun show and Internet sales loopholes, neither of which existed during the Brady bill he authored.
