Sun newspaper backs Conservative Party: David Cameron interview

Sun newspaper backs Conservative Party: David Cameron interview; ENGLAND: INT David Cameron MP (Leader of the Conservative Party) interview SOT - (asked about reaction to Gordon Brown's Conference speech) there was a gaping hole in the speech and that is the gaping hole in the Nation's finances/ This was an irresponsible speech, the PM should have stood up and explained to the whole country how we're going to pay down our huge deficit/ the difficult decisions that have to be taken/ instead we just got an enormous uncosted shopping list and an appeal to Labour to cling on to them, I think that's wrong. - what we're seeing today is a lot of these individual proposals unravelling/ the money isn't there/ it wasn't a speech about the country's problems it was a speech about Gordon Brown and the Labour party's problems - What you're going to see from the Conservatives is a message to the whole country not the Conservative party/ We want to talk to the country about the problems we see and the deficit and broken society and how we restore faith in our politics/ big bold radical changes to take the country in a different direction to give people hope and optimism for the future after a government that is now desperately tired, exhausted and completely run out of steam. - In the end elections are decided by people, by voters, not by newspapers, but I'm delighted The Sun - which is a really important National Newspaper that has millions of readers around the country - has come out and said they support the Conservative Party because we're setting the agenda in British politics because the Labour Party is divided, tired disunited and a mess, I'm delighted/ I want the support of as many people in this country so obviously I welcome any business or newspaper that says the Conservatives have the right ideas - I talk to newspaper editors and journalists form all media organisations all of the time and I'm always keen for them to back what the Conservative Part...
