Muslims in New York perform Tarawih prayers at Times Square

NEW YORK, US - MARCH 2, 2025: Muslims living in New York came together in Times Square to break their fast and perform tarawih prayers.Tarawih is a voluntary prayer offered after Isha, the final evening prayer, and holds spiritual significance during Ramadan.During this holy month, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset, abstaining from food, drink, smoking, and physical intimacy.
