Rescue Operation Saves Leopard and Wild Boar from Well in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, India

This footage was filmed and produced 10 July 2023.In a unique incident in Rajasthan's Chittorgarh district on July 10, a leopard chasing a wild boar accidentally fell into a well. Both animals found themselves in a precarious situation, but fortunately, rescue efforts were initiated to save them. Visuals captured the leopard and boar inside the well, with the leopard gripping onto a wire while the boar remained motionless at one end. When the two animals came into contact, the leopard growled, frightening the boar away. Despite heavy rainfall in the area, rescue officials arrived promptly and braved the elements to rescue the trapped animals. Using a net and a rope ladder, they successfully lifted the boar out of the well. Although initially agitated, the boar was eventually calmed down. The rescue team then proceeded to rescue the leopard, who swiftly ran back into the wild after being brought out of the well. The entire operation lasted approximately two hours
