Egyptian Swimming Team at Folkestone Open Air Pool, England

Egyptian swimming team in training at Folkestone Open Air Pool in preparation for their attempts to swim the Channel. Two of them, Bakr Soliman from Cairo and Abdel Monem Abdov from Damietta, have already succeeded in swimming the Channel on previous occasions. This year, Abdel Monem Abdov, who swam the Channel in 15 1/2 hours in rough water, will attempt the double crossing from England to France (when he will try to beat the record) and then back again without getting out of the water.
