Senator Jones farewell remarks on admiring Senate circa Watergate

Alabama Senator Doug Jones says in final floor speech to the Senate that when he took deals it was likely to be the only time he could do that, sitting at the desk the greatest thing, watching them and bipartisanship and closing the Congress as the Senate is moved freely from one side of the aisle to the other he would just sit in the back and read the names of Senators who sat there like John Kennedy, Ed Muskie, Hubert Humphrey, Richard Shelby and so many others was overwhelming, growing up as presidency captured attention, he knew the names of Senators but up again to change watching the Senate Select Committee on Watergate, a remarkable time for a remarkable committee while he was in college.
