Little Girl Spices Up Tee-Ball Hit With Stylish Cartwheel on Way to First Base

An adorable six-year-old showed off some spectacular cartwheeling skills in Kenilworth, New Jersey, as she included one on her way to first base during a tee-ball game earlier this month. The video was recorded by proud dad Salvatore G DiGirolamo and shows little Mattea hitting the ball. As her opponents rush to catch it, the sweet kid cartwheels her way to first base. DiGirolamo told Storyful that his daughter had recently joined gymnastics and was determined to become a member of the performance team. "Her teacher told her she has to master the cartwheel and to constantly practice," he said. DiGirolamo, who described Mattea as "the sweetest, kindest little girl who is never afraid to be herself," said that she took it upon herself to practice even during tee-ball games.
