UK: NHS warns of increasing pressure on hospitals as national lockdown begins.

VOICED: England is preparing to go into a second national lockdown tonight - after MPs voted to back the Government's plan. Is comes as NHS Bosses warned of increasing pressure on hospitals - announcing that the NHS will move back into Alert Level 4 - the highest level. 25,177 people have tested positive for Covid in the UK. Today's figures report 492 further deaths within 28 days of testing positive - a significant increase on yesterday and the highest since May 19th. That brings the total number of deaths to 47,742. It was revealed today that the total number of people being treated in hospitals would fill 22 hospitals - with more than eleven hundred on ventilators.
