Crocodile's Jaw-Dropping Tree Climb to Escape Male Rival

A female crocodile scaled a tree on July 22 to avoid a much larger male rival during a jaw-dropping moment on a jumping crocodile tour in Australia's Northern Territory. Alyssa Murray, who is American and was on holiday from the Gold Coast with her partner, captured the remarkable footage in Middle Point. Murray told Storyful that seeing a large saltwater crocodile was on her bucket list. She explained that their tour guide had gone to feed the crocs, but the female crocodile didn't notice the dominant male, Dominator, was nearby. 'She booked it out of there however she could, which happened to be about a meter up a tree, because she knew she was going to get chomped,' Murray told Storyful. 'Even our tour guide said he had never seen anything like it, I can't believe I got to see and catch it on film! We also got to see bull shark in the waters a bit later.
