Bladder cancer

Stage 0a and 0is superficial bladder cancer, urothelial and in situ carcinoma. This illustration shows a woman's bladder with, in the upper right of the bladder wall, an in situ stage 0is carcinoma. A zoom at the level of the bladder wall with all its structures allows to see the appearance of this high grade tumor, represented in white. The tumor is still limited to the layer of the most superficial cells of the wall of the bladder, it is larger than the stage 0a tumor (non-invasive papillary urothelial carcinoma).
